Albers Ties Program Record En Route to Second-Straight Title

For the second time in as many tournaments, UA Little Rock junior Anton Albers of Buchholz, Germany has emerged as the individual champion after the 2021 Trinity Forest Invitational March 7-9. Albers shot a 7-under 64 over the final round, including a 25-foot putt on 18 to win the tournament, posting a 7-under 206 to earn medalist honors.

Paul Bianchi is Little Rock Wrestling's First Ever NCAA Qualifier

UA Little Rock senior wrestler Paul Bianchi, from Two Rivers, Wisconsin, has been named one of the six remaining 133-pound wrestlers to punch their ticket to the 2021 Championships. The NCAA Division I Wrestling Committee announced Bianchi as a qualifier March 9 for the Division I Wrestling Championships, making him the first in Trojan program history.

This follows her two record-breaking performances at the tri-meet against Southern Illinois University (SIU) and Valparaiso University, earning the league recognition.

To be on the Dean's List, UA Little Rock students must earn at least nine credit hours and maintain at least a 3.5 GPA.

Kathryn "Roza" Bost recently graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. At the age of four, Bost was adopted from Russia and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. "I wrote a short story called 'The Sweet Exchange' about my memories of the orphanage," Bost said. "My goal is to share my story with international adoptee parents and international adoptees."

Ruot Monyyong Named to Lou Henson Award Mid-Season Watch List

Little Rock senior forward Ruot Monyyong has been named to the Mid-Season Lou Henson Award Watch List, announced Jan. 26 by College Insider. The award is given annually to the top mid-major player in Division I basketball. The 2020-21 Sun Belt Conference Preseason Player of the Year, Monyyong has picked up right where he left off last season when he was tabbed the league's Newcomer and Defensive Player of the Year. Monyyong is averaging 13.0 points and 11.1 rebounds on the year, including 15.3 points and 13.1 rebounds in Sun Belt play.
