Women's Golf Coaches Association All-America Scholar

Little Rock's efforts in the classroom have paid off once again as the Trojans have been named to the 2019-20 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-Scholar Team, consisting of the top-25 teams with the highest cumulative team GPA. Little Rock's team GPA of 3.890 ranks fifth nationally and the highest in the Sun Belt Conference.

Dean's Fellows are an integral part of the Bowen Student Success Program. Dean's Fellows are selected based on their demonstrated leadership skills, excellence in academic performance, professionalism, and a desire to lead and care for their fellow students.

UA Little Rock announces its summer 2020 Chancellor's List, recognizing students with superior academic performance in a semester. To be eligible for the Chancellor's List, students must earn at least nine credit hours and at least a 3.9 grade point average. Students must not have D, F, I or "no credit" grades on their semester grade reports.

A lofty dream, but the Bradford, Arkansas, native was practical about it - the first step had to be, of course, a quest for immortality. STEM Chateaubriand Fellowship

A University of Arkansas at Little Rock doctoral student has received a competitive fellowship that will allow him to conduct research in France in 2021. Atikur Rahman, a doctoral student in applied physics and a native of Bangladesh, is a recipient of the 2020-21 STEM Chateaubriand Fellowship, which includes airfare, health insurance, and a monthly stipend. Rahman is the first UA Little Rock student to receive the Chateaubriand Fellowship.

A University of Arkansas at Little Rock doctoral student has been recruited to begin a new career in engineering and operations at Linkedin. Adewale Obadimu will graduate with a Ph.D. in computer science at the end of the summer, when he will begin a new position as a site reliability engineer at Linkedin in Sunnyvale, California. Site reliability engineers create a bridge between development and operations by applying a software engineering mindset to system administration topics.
