The Ohio Valley Conference awarded 22 Little Rock student-athletes the OVC Academic Medal of Honor for the 2023-24 academic year. The OVC gives the Academic Medal of Honor to those student-athletes who maintain a 4.0 grade point average over an entire academic year.

Brendon Abdon represented the US and Little Rock Wrestling in the U23 Pan American Championships in Rionegro, Colombia in Greco-Roman. After a successful trip, Abdon defeated Ryan Cubas Castillo of Peru to claim the gold medal in the 77kg weight class. Despite finding himself down 0-1, Abdon secured a 10-1 tech fall after seizing the momentum with a four-point move to take the lead.

Little Rock Wrestling's KJ Miley wins the gold medal at the U23 Pan American Championships in Rionegro, Colombia in Greco-Roman 130kg. Miley Conceded zero points through four matches outscoring opponents 22-0.

Aaliyah Mathis was named the Ohio Valley Conference Female Field Athlete of the Week announced by the conference April 24. This is the second field athlete of the week honor for the junior this season.

For the second time in a six week span, freshman Eleonore Aernouts was named the Ohio Valley Conference Golfer of the Week, giving the Little Rock Women's Golf program its sixth weekly honor of the year and third in a four week span.

After stepping up for her team in a huge way, UA Little Rock junior Jordan Holman was also recognized by the Ohio Valley Conference, naming Holman the Newcomer of the Week for women's basketball.

Senior guard Jayla Brooks stepped up into a leadership role for the Little Rock women's basketball team. Her performance on the floor not only helped the Trojans land the number 2 seed at this week's Ohio Valley Conference Championships, but it also earned her a 1st Team All-OVC selection Tuesday as the 2023-24 All-Conference Team was announced.

Jaylen Crocker-Johnson was named the Ohio Valley Conference Co-Freshman of the Week released March 4. Crocker-Johnson becomes the fifth player in Ohio Valley Conference history to receive the honor nine times in a season.

Jaylen Crocker-Johnson was named the Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Week for the third-straight week. Crocker-Johnson becomes the second player in OVC history to receive the honor seven times in a season and the eighth player to receive the honor for three consecutive weeks.

Little Rock Track and Field athletes received Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Honors after their strong performance at the Arkansas Invitational January 12.
