Ten college students from across the country participated in an intensive summer research program designed to decrease the tide of cyberattacks on people using mobile technology and social media. The UALR Shelby Breedlove Scholarship is an endowed scholarship for students transferring to UALR from a two-year institution in Arkansas that offers up to $16,000 for two years. Recipients are required to have 45 transferable credit hours and a cumulative transfer GPA of at least 3.25.

The UALR Freshman Award from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock requires the recipient to have successfully obtained a 22 or above on the ACT and a cumulative high school grade point average of at least 3.00.
