UA Little Rock students rode the Tour de Rock in honor of the brother of Steve McClellan, vice chancellor for finance and administration. McClellan's brother, Bruce, was diagnosed with lung cancer last year.

It wasn't enough for Little Rock Athletics to excel in the classroom and also on the competition field, the Trojans are also being recognized for their philanthropic efforts by the Little Rock Marathon Committee, which recently named the Little Rock Athletic Department as its Volunteer Group of the Year and presented the Volunteer of the Year Award to senior swimmer Aubry Matthews.

A concurrent student from the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law and the Clinton School of Public Service recently completed his International Public Service Project with African Prisons Project (APP), a nonprofit organization with the vision to empower changemakers within prisons by providing them with legal training and services.

A group University of Arkansas at Little Rock theatre students recently took the stage to entertain guests in "The All Night Strut," a musical revue with performances inspired by artists from the 1930s and 40s.

Three University of Arkansas at Little Rock students landed jobs in "God's Not Dead 3," the latest installment of the faith-based film being filmed in central Arkansas.
