Wesley Ferguson named UALR EIT Scholar

Wesley Ferguson of North Little Rock, a 2013 graduate of North Little Rock High School, has been selected as an Engineering and Information Technology (EIT) Scholar at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Ferguson was selected from a competitive pool of applicants.

Those selected as EIT Scholars are awarded up to $3,000 per academic year and provided a distinctive learning environment as a member of an on-campus residential community.

To compete as an EIT Scholar at UALR, potential freshmen must major in architectural & construction engineering, civil & construction engineering, computer science, construction management, e-commerce, engineering technology, information science, or systems engineering.

Scholars must also possess a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or greater and either an ACT score of 22 or SAT score of 1020 or greater.
