Taylor Nolley named Arts Scholar
2013 Nov 5
Taylor Nolley of Little Rock, a graduate of Parkview Magnet High School, has been chosen to receive an art scholarship for the 2013-14 academic year.
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has named 12 students for the honor, chosen from a competitive pool of applicants. Funding typically ranges from $250 to $6,000.
To be considered for the scholarship, the student must be pursuing a degree in the UALR Department of Art.
In addition, art history students must submit two research papers; studio art and applied design art students must submit an art portfolio; and students of art education must submit either two research papers, an art portfolio, or a combination of both.
Participation in a yearly scholarship exhibition is also a requirement for consideration.
