Tanner Harris named UALR EIT Scholar

Tanner Harris of Hot Springs, a 2013 graduate of Hot Springs High School, has been selected as an Engineering and Information Technology (EIT) Scholar at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Harris was selected from a competitive pool of applicants.

Those selected as EIT Scholars are awarded up to $3,000 per academic year and provided a distinctive learning environment as a member of an on-campus residential community.

To compete as an EIT Scholar at UALR, potential freshmen must major in architectural & construction engineering, civil & construction engineering, computer science, construction management, e-commerce, engineering technology, information science, or systems engineering.

Scholars must also possess a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or greater and either an ACT score of 22 or SAT score of 1020 or greater.
