Sean Bass named Spring 2018 resident assistant

2018 Jan 30

Sean Bass of Rison, AR, was selected by the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Campus Living for the honor of becoming a resident assistant.

"A resident assistant is often the first person on campus who residential students will meet," said Marc Glidden, director of Campus Living and assistant dean of students. "RAs are outstanding undergraduate students who work closely with residents of Campus Living to ensure safe, engaging, and academic-focused residential communities. Our RAs serve residential students by connecting them to campus and community resources, addressing facility issues, and providing opportunities for them to meet new friends."

This semester's resident assistants serve as mentors and leaders at one of five residential housing options that serve UA Little Rock students across the campus, including North Hall, South Hall, West Hall, East Hall, and the University Village.

"RAs put in countless hours of hard work, from responding to late night crisis calls to staying up late playing board games, which often goes unnoticed," Glidden said. "It is truly a pleasure to work with such an outstanding group of young professionals who are proud to call themselves residents assistants."
