Rusty Bell attends Leadership Summit in Dallas

2015 Mar 4

Rusty Bell, a Interdisciplinary Studies major from White Hall, is one of 11 members of the UALR Zeta Eta Chapter who joined other Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity undergraduates at the 2015 Pike University Leadership Summit in Dallas in February.

Pike University Leadership Summits provide undergraduate students the opportunity to attend sessions that expedite their career development after graduation.

"These summits give undergraduates and alumni from across North America a chance to grow both as brothers, and become better men," said Past President and current Chapter Public Relations Chair Brandon Bagwell.

Sessions included a focus on such topics as leadership, public speaking, personal branding, personal finance, alcohol and drug awareness, bystander intervention, understanding personal values, and problem solving to create positive change.

Additionally, Pike University's Leadership Lecture Series highlighted a prominent Pi Kappa Alpha alumnus who shared insight on leadership and life lessons that led to his personal and professional success.

The Leadership Summit was one of the nine Pike University events held annually across the continent with over 3,500 annual participants.
