Mya Robinson named Sun Belt Conference's Freshman of the Week

Mya Robinson of North Little Rock, AR was recently named Sun Belt Conference's Freshman of the Week.

Robinson is the first Trojan in program history to earn the weekly conference honor.

Robinson posted a double-double against Georgia Southern Friday, Oct. 27, racking up 13 kills, 18 digs and three block assists in the Trojans' four-set win against the Eagles. She then tallied her second double-double of the weekend against Georgia State as she put down 13 kills and 10 digs in Little Rock's comeback win over the Panthers.

The North Little Rock native has recorded six double-doubles this season - the most by a Trojan freshman since Edina Begic in 2011. For the year, Robinson has recorded 212 kills and 211 digs.
