Juhyung Lee named UALR Donaghey Scholar

Juhyung Lee, a 2013 graduate of North Little Rock High School, has been selected as a Donaghey Scholar at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Parents are Hyeyoung Jang of Daegu, Korea.
Lee joins 25 students this year selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants representing five states and six countries.
Being named a Donaghey Scholar is among the most prestigious designations given by UALR. Those selected as Donaghey Scholars are awarded up to $80,000 over a four-year period, which includes tuition and a stipend, as well as a funded study abroad experience, a laptop, and assistance toward student housing.
The UALR Donaghey Scholars Program offers a distinctive learning environment for undergraduate studies with an interdisciplinary curriculum emphasizing critical thinking through the reading of primary texts, writing and discussion.
As the university honors program, scholars are given a strong foundation to pursue any major at UALR.
