Jennifer Bowen of Quitman earns UALR Freshman Award

Jennifer Bowen of Quitman, a Quitman High School graduate, has been awarded the UALR Freshman Award from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

This scholarship is competitive among entering freshmen and requires the recipient to have successfully obtained a 22 or above on the ACT and a cumulative high school grade point average of at least 3.00. The scholarship awards $8,000 over four years if renewal requirements are met.
