Aimee Claire Glenn named UALR Donaghey Scholar
2014 Oct 1
Aimee Claire Glenn of Little Rock, a graduate of Loyola College Prep in Shreveport, La., has been selected as a Donaghey Scholar at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock for the 2014-15 academic year.
She joins a small group of students this year selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants.
Being named a Donaghey Scholar is among the most prestigious designations given by UALR. Those selected as Donaghey Scholars are awarded up to $80,000 over a four-year period, which includes tuition and a stipend, as well as a funded study abroad experience, a laptop, and assistance toward student housing.
The UALR Donaghey Scholars Program offers a distinctive learning environment for undergraduate studies with an interdisciplinary curriculum emphasizing critical thinking through the reading of primary texts, writing and discussion.
As the university honors program, scholars are given a strong foundation to pursue any major at UALR.
